Use these tips to revamp your resume so that it will be noticed by recruiters

For a job,  your resume and cover letter play a major role , it provides recruiters with first impression and your capabilities as a potential candidate. A great resume means to attract without much more focusing  fonts, colors , and images. The CV / resume should be clear and concise able to convey the right message that you are the best candidate for the role. Recruiters often spend a lot of their time looking through piles of resumes, so it's important to have a resume that grabs their attention immediately.  We cover few résumé renewal tips to get noticed .



1. Accurate Spelling

 Spelling and grammatical errors give the impression that you shouldn't  be given attention to detail. So give the importance of spelling and grammar to your CV. Get it right with a spell checker or other tools. Better to double check by yourself or someone else to avoid any further mistake. As a whole accurate spelling give very good impression always.


2. Stick to the basics

Use  CV Layout  to keep the flow logical. Avoid creative fonts, colors, images, etc. The name and contact details should be at the top. Do a thorough vetting before submitting a resume. When applying for multiple jobs, you should be working on different versions that are relevant to the job you are applying for.


3. Move backward 

Start working record by simply mentioning your contact details from current job to previous jobs. It is advised not to exceed ten years if you have had multiple roles over the years. If you are just starting out, be sure to include your internships, casual jobs, volunteer history work, etc., to show that you have some practical work experience.


4. Quick Details

Use bullet points as often as possible because they will break down sentences to make them clear and easy to scan. The best way to include all of your responsibilities in your previous role and the things that were accomplished.

5. About yourself 

 After covering experience, cover educational background, accomplishments attained and then hobbies and interests that will be included. Make everything clear and direct for easy reading.  Try to limit it to 3-4 pages - ideally, the CV should be no more than 3 pages. A fourth page can be included to obtain important information,  important to the role of the application.




6. Your References 

Add  few references as per your convenient, so make sure the contact details you will add are accurate and let them know ahead of time that you are applying for them.
